A little trip to Vorden...

On Sunday morning we took a 2 hour train trip east to Vorden to meet some of our family. There we spent the day with Bas and Anja, their children and grandchildren. Was so nice to meet this family that we had only heard of.

We also visited the smallest "town" (if you call it that) called Bronkhorst, there are only about 20 houses and a restaurant! Was very quant!

We spent the night with Bas and Anja and then today we borrowed their bikes and cruised the countryside for about 4 hours! Was gezellig (as the dutch would say!) we absolutely loved it!

We are now back with Peter and Lieuwke in our Dutch home :)

Here's a peek at the beauty of the Netherlands!

xx

Anja takes her grandchildren Bram and Bente too and from school each day on their bikes!
Nothing like a good Dutch shop that sells cheese and drop!!

Nothing to say but... WHAT A DAY!

Thank you so much Marlous and Wendy for the use of your bikes!! xx

  1. What a nice overview of your trip to the east.

The "Charles Dickens" museum was obviously a huge highlight of Bronkhorst. The 3D performance in the theater is an experience never to be forgotten.

It was nice meeting you all, and enjoy your time in Europe.
