Goodbye Africa!

Well after three and a half weeks, it's time to leave Africa. It's been a great experience. Met some wonderful people. Our last nights we spent with lizelle again. Was incredibly sad to leave her! Today we went for lunch to a recycled jandals shop. The make everything from jandals (for you Aussies- thongs).

We admit we are looking forward to getting to holland, no more, only white ladies on the street, sticking out like sore thumbs, over friendly men!! And most of all "ladies, are you sisters?" , " oh your twins?" ," really?" " but she is bigger than you ( pointing to Lucia), " mind you she's prettier than you". ( no one actually said that but I know they were thinking it- just trying to boost the confidence) Haha. Apparently you have to be identical to be a twin in africa. So after we got sick of explaining we are twins,On our safari- Charlotte became 23 year old Maria and Lucia 24 year old Mary! So much simpler, except when the cook called- morning Mary and Maria- we forgot to answer ( little but akward).

Waiting to catch our flight to London then holland - for some weird reason "special class" on our ticket does not mean " business class", it's "economy". However Lucia tried her luck and went to the business class check it. Played dumb when told this, then asked for a upgrade- you have US$500? - so no we didn't get upgraded! Worth a try and a laugh!!
