Turkey = Kebabs. Tea. Nougat.

So after being a little scared about Turkey (mainly because everyone back home was telling us how high risk it was). We arrive at Izmir airport, then Istanbul airport- nearly as busy as Heathrow!! By the time we got to hotel it was 1.40am! During the taxi ride we had to change to a smaller car- as the streets are so small. Our bus driver had his child with him- so when we went to hop in the smaller taxi the taxi driver yells-"your child, your forgetting your child"!!! No thats not ours!!

Well today we explored!! Wow!! We went to the Blue Mosque. The underground Basilica Cistern was amazing!

Walked every street possible, checked out all the cute hotels and houses. We also ended up In a huge market similar to Thailand. Scarfs. Tea. Turkish delight. Nougat. Ceramics. Kebabs. Coffee. Leather jackets. Bags. Shoes. You name it... They had it!

Tomorrow we fly to Cappadocia.... Wahhooo
