We've got an apartment in a sweet location for the week, so we've been sightseeing from here... And done a wee bit of shopping!
Was freezing cold yesterday and before we knew it the sleet had turned to snow by 3pm! Was so exciting... I'm sure the locals thought we were crazy! We would have had about 6cm... Was sweet as! When we woke this morning the roads and footpaths had all been cleared, but there were mounds of snow in the gutters.
Took the Staten Island ferry today past the Statue of Liberty... Was very cool (literally). Was beautiful sunshine but the wind is so cold!
Anyhow... Time to plan tomorrow's adventures for NYC! Katie flies in at midday so that's exciting too...
